How many of you have stopped to take a photo of your knight in front of the George White Elementary School sign on Chapparosa Park Road? Anyone who saw the sign last year will remember that it was falling apart and desperately in need of a make-over. Enter George White alum, Micah Ivory. As part of his Eagle Scout service project benefitting his community, Micah spent over thirty hours this summer building a brand new George White Elementary School sign. Micah is now a sophomore at Dana Hills High School and says his best memory of George White was "the games the PTA Moms would organize on Fridays," aka Friday Field Day. Many thanks Micah! We love our new sign!
